Providence VA Medical Center, Rhode Island
Our library is open to the public, and you are welcome to visit. You can ask a question, use our onsite resources, or enjoy our "Community Free Library" book swap.
Our library resources are comprised of primarily medical and consumer health materials. The "Community Free Library" has donated fiction and non-fiction materials that we include when approved by library staff. We welcome donations.
Circulation of resources is available for one month for staff, students on rotation, Veterans and their families. Reference and reserve materials are for "in library" use only. All materials circulated locally are also available for interlibrary loan, with the same restriction on reference and reserve materials. Interlibrary loan is available for one month by request through assistance from staff at your public library.
Our catalog can be searched at http://cybertoolsforlibraries.com/cgi-bin/CyberHTML?V1PRHO. Under "Search Catalog" select "Providence".
Staff includes Cheryl Banick, Chief of the Library Service, and volunteers.
