Ms. Swearingen joined the CfNN as a Health Science Specialist in July 2017 following receiving her B.A. in Neuroscience and German from Washington and Jefferson College, with interdisciplinary honors in Neuroscience. While at Washington and Jefferson, Hannah conducted independent research investigating the efficacy of alternative treatments for depression. Additionally, during the summer of 2016 Hannah interned at Butler Hospital in Providence and worked on a research study involving a synchronized TMS (sTMS) and bipolar depression. Hannah’s current research interests include structure function relationships of the brain in relation to psychiatric disorders with the use of neuroimaging, as well as the use of neuromodulation therapies for the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
