Dr. David Borton is a Research Biomedical Engineer with CfNN and an Assistant Professor of Engineering at Brown University. David Borton received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2006 and his PhD in Bioengineering from Brown University in 2012. He then received the Marie Curie IIF award for Brain-spinal interface research conducted at the Swiss National Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland under the direction of Gregoire Courtine. David leads an interdisciplinary team of researchers focused on the design, development, and implementation of novel neural interfaces for understand both basic science of, and functional applications to neuromotor diseases.
