Dr. Rudolph is a board-certified internist, geriatrician and palliative care physician whose goal is improving care for older patients. As a director of the VA Center of Innovation in Long Term Services and Supports, he has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. His interest in recovery of function after acute illness has led to the development of innovative programs in delirium, polypharmacy and palliative care. His career has focused on bringing evidence-based practice into clinical care through developing measurement infrastructure, innovative program design, and implementation science. In his educational role, Dr. Rudolph inspires medical students, residents, fellows and junior faculty to recognize their potential and pursue careers that will improve the lives of older patients.
