The Providence VA Medical Center recently conducted a Nursing Skills Fair for staff to hone their skills in competencies critical to patient care and safety.  One station at the Fair was the Patient Safe Handling Station, where the use of the Sara-Lift was demonstrated (the sara-lift is to be used to assist patients from a sitting to a standing position).  In the picture are: Aygul Cetiner, RN Hemodialysis; Margaret Milner, RN Specialty Clinics; Suzanne Richmond, RN Wound Care Nurse HBPC; Maribel Arguinzoni, RN Wound Care Nurse.  In the background you see Tammy DeSouza, CNL 5B; Jeff Figueira, Health Tech Primary Care.
