The Providence VA Medical Center celebrated VA National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans this past week.  Several local dignitaries to include Governor Lincoln Chaffee, Providence Mayor Angel Tavares, and Major General Robert Bray (Commanding General, Rhode Island National Guard) visited with inpatient Veterans, expressing gratitude for their sacrifice and service on behalf of a greatful nation.

The purpose of the VA National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Program is to pay tribute and express appreciation to hospitalized Veterans.
