Providence VA Medical Center launches new Tell-a-Vet initiative

By : Initiative encourages family members, friends, and Veteran advocates to help reach out to Vets
Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Do you know...?

  • A family member, friend, or neighbor who is a Veteran but not receiving VA healthcare services?
  • A Veteran who may be experiencing financial hardship, a job loss, or is between jobs?
  • A Veteran who is returning from military service?

IF YOUR ANSWER IS "YES" TO ANY OF THESE QUESTIONS, please TELL-A-VET to consider enrolling for VA healthcare.  It costs nothing to enroll and may be one of the most important things they do to ensure their continued health and well-being.

For more information about VA healthcare eligibility and enrollment, interested Veterans are urged to call (401) 457-3255, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or visit www.va.gov/healtheligibility.
