The Comprehensive Ambulatory Psychiatry Section (CAPS) provides a wide range of mental health services to Veterans on an outpatient basis.  These services include medication management, specialized psychotherapy groups, and evidence-based therapy for individuals, families, and couples. CAPS is an interdisciplinary program with psychiatrists, advance practice nurses, nurse case managers, clinical social workers, and clinical psychologists working in collaboration. CAPS providers treat a full range of diagnoses across age groups, including the assessment and treatment of geriatric patients, and the weekly injection and clozapine clinics that serve Veterans with chronic mental illness.
