Providence VAMC Pharmacy Refill
The Providence VA Medical Center Pharmacy continuously strives to maximize patient satisfaction for our Veterans who rely on the Pharmacy for over 1.1 million prescriptions and other services each year. Call our local or toll free numbers at (401) 273-7100 or 1-866-363-4486 for the following pharmacy-related needs:
a. To order RX refills using the automated refill line (Select option 1 and, at the prompt, select option 1 again);
b. For assistance ordering refills, updating your address, tracking the status of your prescription; or if you are out of medication, need to contact your provider, have no more refills or your RX is expired, or you need to report a medication side effect or allergic reaction (Dial same number above, select option 1 and, at the prompt, select option 2)
For all other pharmacy-related needs or concerns, please contact a Pharmacy Customer Call Center (PCCC) representative who will address your question or redirect your call, as appropriate: (401) 457-3344 (option #2, then option #8), or at 1-866-400-1241.
Please visit My HealtheVet for information about any prescription you may be taking. My HealtheVet provides access to trusted health information, links to Federal and VA benefits and resources, the Personal Health Journal, and now online VA prescription refill.
Prescriptions may also be filled online using VA's My HealtheVet program. You will need a user id and password to log in. If you do not have one, you can easily get one by creating your personal profile.
You may mail the refill request form provided with the prescription to the Providence VA Medical Center Pharmacy for processing.
In certain situations, Veterans may come into the PVAMC Outpatient Pharmacy and request a "hold over" or bridge supply to avoid being out of critical medication. PVAMC does not routinely refill medications onsite for patients who have valid mailing addresses.
You may drop off you prescription refill request in the Pharmacy Lobby drop box. All refills take between 7-10 business days to process and mail.
